Camping under the stars and in the cow patties is how we roll. Well, something like that. We were staying in Missoula while our truck was being fixed (post right before this one) and we decided to camp on the property where we use to live. Instead of sleeping in the house like usual we camped in one of the cow pastures.

Do you need adventure? You can always stay at a hotel made entirely of snow and ice. There is an off chance you will be cold.... Inside you'll find the popular Ice Café, the breath taking (hee hee) ice chapel,indoor slide for the kids, 36 rooms and theme suites (one has a fireplace....humm), a Grand Hall with an ice candelabra illuminated fibre optically, a huge Ice Bar (you can squeeze in 400 of your closest friends)and three outdoor hot tubs and a sauna. It is worth the tour, but the $400 price tag, maybe not.

The sunrise played peek-a-boo behind trees. I wished for the warmth to fill me. Birds were flying and people were driving, everyone in a hurry. I let the wind grab a hold of my wings, slowly I landed.

It was 8:00 in the morning, two hours behind me and 9 hours to go... Hours went by yet time stood still. To be, present perfect and some prepositions... is the clock broken? Another student. Florescent lights, unflattering, unforgiving and unnerving with their incessant flicker. Not a window in sight. The hypnotic sounds of the warehouse drones on and on. Unknown words from the French speaking associates to my one English voice. I think I am lonely.

5 more hours, I'm on my toes...pacing between students. Anxiety from the 6x6 cell, it was closing in on me. The friendly faces and a desire to learn sat me down. The hands started to move. Then I remember time is a gift.

Oh, my heart! It's Friday Foto Finish Fiesta & a 100th post give-a-way!

What a Priday...we have Friday Foto Finish Fiesta and a gift-a-way! For real, it is more like a celebration because I have successfully reached 100 posts. Woo Hoo Streamers flying! Confetti littering the floor! Annoying little noise makers in your ear! Party!

First things first, Friday Foto Finish Fiesta with a little story to go along with it.

Hearts are not my thing, but I do have a very good reason that I failed to share with you. It's a sad story about a girl who o.d.'d on hearts. It is the mid 90's, oh I like this part....I was skinny and running a very high volume retail store. Think back to those days if you will, spiral perms on the way out and bangs were back. My store was the ground breaking, start of something new, something fabulous and super pink. It was no longer a Secret of Victoria's because everybody was gossiping about the new pull them up, push them together- sexy bras. It was also the start of Victoria's Secret Bath and Fragrance as a separate company . My gia-normus store was pink with dangling, sparkling, glimmering HearTs. I had to wear a pink smock with a heart on it. They fed us intravenously to pee pink. Seriously, it was hot flippen pink and I spent more than 60 hours a week there. When I went home at night I smelled like a pear and coughed up little pink fur balls...with hearts in them.


"I'm bringing hearts back, you other symbols don't no how to act"...(To the tune of I'm bringing Sexy back) That's right for the first time in years I made heart cookies, I bought heart candles and I am feeling hear-tab-u-lous.

Roll'en in the dough, oops I mean rolling the dough.....

The final product, some didn't make it (Taps sounding in the background) I took one for the team. (Actually, about 7...)


What about the 100th celebration? Honestly, when I started I wondered if I would ever make it to the 100th post.....YiPpY, I did!

Last night my friend stopped by to show me her new little female fur ball! (They were just coming home from picking her up.) I am so excited to have a dog to play with. As for a name....well, that is to be continued. Do you have any creative ideas? Let me know, she would love your help.

Friday Foto Finish Fiesta

My First Friday Foto Phinish Fiesta...Candid Carrie whom I adore, invites everyone to join in, so I did. As I continue to challenge myself to be consistent or develop a routine this is something I have added to my blog life.
This foto was taken at my parents house a couple weeks ago. Between the deer and turkeys, they are entertained in there lazy boys all day long.
