Do you think she knows?

While driving home from work last night I was listening to a talk radio host, who was speaking on the subject of Elizabeth Taylor's death. The host asked the following question.....

"Do you think she knows what people are saying about her today?"

It was a gentle reminder for me to take time to tell someone
how important they are in my life.

There's no time like the present.

That's wonderful and oh so true. I lost my two best friends to cancer over the past two years. Both were way too young to go. It taught me to cherish every moment in life and share as much time as possible with your loved ones.

What you say is true. We don't know when our last day will be, so perhaps we should treat each day as though it were.

The first movie I ever saw her in was 'National Velvet'... I was all of about 10 yrs old at the time and I wanted to BE HER.

I think she gave her absolute best performance in 'Cat On A Hot Tin Roof'. I was completely blown away by her energy and vulnerability.

I will forever remember her as the sweet innocent girl who saved *my Pie* (the horse in NV that I desperately wanted to call my own)... and grew into the feisty but lovely Maggie The Cat.

PS and I love your sweet words about letting others know how important they are to us. Too often I keep my guard up and hide my true feelings. Funny, it's always easy to let the bad stuff out, but so hard to let someone into your heart.

That is a good reminder. Surely she knew how loved she was. But the people in our lives might not!
