A great discount story comes from today! The only deodorant my husband uses is Arm & Hammer Natural Essentials (no aluminum, etc) which normally runs $3 a pop. And natural deodorants are hardly ever on sale...except right now at Rite Aid where I stocked up on them for $.79 each! I was able to get 3 for less than the price of one originally. Our pantry is stocked!!

When I have a new prescription I turn it into CVS to get a gift card, that $25 lasts me 6 months or more because i buy items with extra bucks, use those extra bucks to buy other items on extra bucks, etc... until the gift card runs out. That $25 with extra bucks buys a lot!

One of my best saving strategies is to transfer a prescription to CVS to get a $25 CVS gift card (usually use a K Mart form even though the script is at Wal-Mart - they honor competitors' ads)Then save & use ECBs + use CVS coupon of $4 off $20 + manufactures coupons.....and voila! - save lots of money!

I need to stock up on things like toilet paper and frozen food. We are expecting our 3rd baby in a few weeks and if I leave it up to my husband, we'll go in debt eating out while I recuperate!

I have a huge book of coupons and always head straight to the clearance section first. Our Kroger frequently has produce clearanced so we buy and use or freeze that.

My best discount story has to be from K-Mart doubles. Walked away with well over $300 worth of merchandise for less than $5. Months later, we still haven't run out of some of the cleaning supplies and health and beauty supplies I was able to stockpile. It was brilliant!
