100 Things about Me #3 Twitterpated or Caffeine...

About two and a half years ago...I got a little jumpy. My heart started thumping a lot faster than it should. At first I thought it was just a side effect from being Twitterpated. Then I realized it was evils of caffeine. As the horns were blowing, Taps my caffeine swirled down the drain never to cross my lips again.

the image (or sound) of taps playing as you drained your caffeinated cup is great. :) poor girl. i've been caffeine free for about 2 months now and it's not as hard as i thought it'd be...but i do miss the fizzy of a soda (pop).

Thanks for visiting me! I am not a huge coffee fan, but every now and then I'll quit the diet coke just to let my body have a break. I would love to tell you about Crossfit, I've been going for almost a year and I hate hate hate to work out. My husband didn't think I'd hang more than a month, but I've stuck with it. Being Mormon, I don't drink coffee, but I've always loved the smell. I always envied those that had their lovely cups of the steaming, black stuff. But now, you're making me glad I don't!

I've been pretty much caffeine free since 1992. Every so often I would have a Diet Coke in a restaurant, but the past few years I've stopped even having the occasional soda. I just feel crappy after drinking one and caffeine now, in any quantity, will keep me up for days.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. It is nice to meet you! Stop by my blog, The Goat, anytime!

Good for you. I would hate having that jumpy feeling. I don't really do coffee unless it's a Frappucino, but I do love a caffeinated drink!

I'm about 90% caffeine free...sometimes have an afternoon coffee...I like it but it doesn't like me so much! Don't know how people drink it all day long!

Lol! That's so funny, good for you for being strong and not having caffeine for two years. I guess I lucked out, because I hate having caffeine in my system!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I can identify with what you're saying here about the effects of caffeine, and I've tried to kick the habit a few times, but I'm just a much more wonderful person when I drink a boatload with milk and Spenda each A.M. It's tricky, but I've learned how to burp Evie with one hand so that I can continue to sip. :)

I have a similar caffeine response from time to time...and so I'll go off the precious stuff for a while--and then all it takes is one good whiff of a Starbucks....

Blessings!
