Carnaval de Quebec starts today....this is Bon Homme.(Above) Well, it is a statue of him....the real one is somewhere and I will find him for a photo moment. :D More about this 17 day festival through out the next few weeks. Happy Phriday.

bon homme means good man, right? is this a good man festival? :)
how fun. we've got the fur rendezvous (or fur rondy- which sounds so weird when you first hear it) in february leading up to the iditarod. i hear it's a festival thing to keep peeps from going nuts after being indoors so long from the cold. perhaps similar to this quebec festival? :)
ooh- for ellen, you need to do something wild at this festival! keep a video camera always and let your inner wild child out (she's totally there- you "stalked" prince!)!
