Giveaway...madness! Actually happiness because it is so much fun!

Tis the season to be jolly......we're gonna have another gift-a-way! (Meant to be sung.) Two at one time....yippy!

How about those cute Dollar Store reindeer...worth the entire $1.00?.?. I'm so hanging them from my rear view mirror on our long drive back to Michigan. Fuzzy dice have nothing on my glittery reindeer.

Back to the give-a-way.

These little containers of heaven are from The Body Shop. Body Butter! Butter is right...smooth as butter. I will be giving away 4 body butters, scents may vary from the picture, but do not worry...there isn't a stinky scent. This is coming from a highly sensitive sniffer. I promise you that.

I like the concept of The Body Shop, that is why I started selling it a couple years ago as an, at home consultant. What they do that I like: community trade, campaign to fight domestic violence, no animal testing, recycled shipping/packing material, invest in renewable energy projects... (just a few BIG things) In some ways supporting Kelly Williams(see other contest) is like backing the founder of The Body Shop, Anita Roddick. It is all about vision...just making it happen. I love girl power!

Do you have girl power? What do you believe it so strongly that you would stand up and shout at the top of your lungs, if anybody was listening? Even it no one was listening and you silently support a cause....what is it?

One lucky, soon to smell good or a least better, blogger is going to get 4, 1.7oz Body Butters... Here is how to do it:
1.)Leave a comment on my blog telling me what you truly believe in...even if you do not have the time to go out and support it...what is it you would support if time was more plentiful? (And sleep wasn't necessary.)
2.)For an additional entry, just start to follow my blog. It's a good idea to do that anyway...so, you can always be "in the know" of my give-a-ways. *Please leave a separate comment for each entry.

*Extra important stuff.
This Annonandon sponsored contest is open to United States peeps only. The final day to enter is December 25,yup Christmas. I will then e-mail the lucky one. You will have only 3 days to claim your prize before I move on to the next winner.

Yippy, another gift-a-way! Did you sign up for both? Than go to it....HERE...I'll help you out.

What I believe, now that is opening up a can isn't it :). I guess believe in, support can narrow it down a little.

Well one thing we do and support is hosting an exchange student. This is the first time we've done it. Even though it's been trying, I think we'll do it again. It helps children out and gives my boys something to be proud of also.

I'm already a follower ... LOL, do I get two entries :). Just playing! Thanks Ann

Hmm...got a few days? If time weren't an issue, I'd volunteer every Thursday at our church-sponsored food bank, spend some time in Haiti with a mission organization, volunteer at Sweet Son #1's school a few days a week. That's just for starters! :)

Well, I believe in recycling. I buy soda in cans (instead of bottles) so that I can turn them in (plus you get a few bucks). I tried to take my own bag to the store with me, but that's tricky. Especially in the produce section, people look at you like your stealing or something! (I live in a small town). I save jars to use for leftover dinner storage. Small things like that.

We have no recycling p/u service here, and I think if that were an option a lot more people would be willing. My family doesn't get it AT ALL! They think as soon as the garbage man picks up their trash that it's just gone forever!

Well, I believe in a lot of things and support several. But if time and money were no issue, I think I'd need to try to do something about the atrocities in Africa. My heart goes out to those suffering there.

I believe in getting out the word to others to care about something more. spread awareness and to give, even if you think you can't...you probably can, and it doesn't have to cost you a thing. I am having a giveaway on my blog for some art design pack of 10 notecards (art by my 2yr old daughter =) for anyone who can donate to a charity I am supporting(cancer).
I am also doing a Blanket drive through work and have 5 blankets donated so far! It is supposed to be a really cold winter out there and if you can put a warm blanket around someone without a home, it doesn't cost you a thing....if you pull out one of those "extra" blankets or jackets you have in the closets... You can do a lot, for a little!

What I truly believe in? Reaching out a hand to those in need, especially those in my own neighborhood or city. I like trying to help on a local level. (Not that I don't support looking globally as well, but I feel compelled to start around me and go from there.)

One biggie on my Belief List is every child's birthright of mama's milk. As Americans, don't we love all things cheap and easy? *AND* it builds relationship. The end routine genital mutilation (another big soap box of mine) and end all roadblocks to successful breastfeeding and the World would Be a much Better Place :)

Congrats on being saucy this week!

What I truly believe in enough to support and put a lot of time and money into is the gospel of Jesus Christ: that we fell into sin from our perfect state as God's creatures, that we deserve death and hell for sinning against a perfect, infinite God, that He loved us so much that He sent His sinless Son to die on the cross so that we may know Him, and that Jesus rose again and we have hope that we too will be raised from the dead.

Love your idea on support. I actually just became a volunteer for Save A Vet. (not like vetrinarian, like a Veteran) My hubs is a disabled combat Vet, and when he got out he didn't get the help he needed for his PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) This is such a common occurance for these guys who get home from a deployment and get out right away. And really most of the guys we know suffer from it. My husbands unit lost a lot of guys in one particular attack, hubs bestie was killed. Its been more than 4 years and it still feels like just yesterday. Hubs was injured that day, but didnt come home for a few months. PTSD is more than a mental thing, it affects many areas of life. Crowds are a problem, loud noises, sleep is rough, never enough sleep, it can also display as a form of depression. We have thousands of Military personnel that come home with it and may never get help for it. The VA is overwhelmed with need.

In comes www.saveavet.com which was started by 3 Marines who run it solely on their disability checks each month. They are trying to help those who need it asap and can't get it from the VA.

If I had the time I would dedicate more time to my own non profit too. I am trying to get non profit status for tax purposes. It centers around bringing gifts to nursing homes, hospices and hospitals to people who maybe dont get regular visitors or visitors at all. It is something I would love to do full time, but 2 kiddos and daycare take a toll on the ole timeline. I just think there are so many people who could use a friend, a visitor, a gift or just a kind word.

Sorry, that was 2 things! I just love them both!

I truly believe the in the Spirit of Santa Clause and Christmas. When you look into the eyes of a believer there is something special that every person should feel and hold.

If I could help any cause it would be that of homeless families. I've seen way to many people with children in homeless shelters and dealing with the hardships. I would help in any way I could.

I am a internationally adoptive Mother of two special needs kids.
If I were able. I would see to it that each and every child in the class I volunteer in had a warm coat, a loving available parent. That needs for families would be met so that the children's needs would not be left unattended.
I was able to take classes and become the Art Masterpiece presenter for 3-4 classes of kids in grades 1,2,4.
One day a week I offer two hours to teach kids tricks on coping with learning disabilities.
If I were able too...I would have time for each child that longed for my attention.
If ability and money and time were no problem I would bring home all of those children who I held in Russia. Those who will never have the chance to be adopted. I would get the funds available for all of those families who want to adopt but can not afford it. All the debt of those who had mortgaged their homes to save lives would have it erased with a wand so they could concentrate on the needs of the family.

One of the things I'm so passionate about it a healthy {clean} home! After experiencing the premature birth of my son which caused lung/breathing issues, I went to work to figure out which things triggered his "episodes" the worst. Well, after much research I discovered that the cleaners in my home were made from toxic solutions and whenver I cleaned his breathing issues went into freak out mode...and I became one mad mama to find the best possible cleaners on the market - effective and toxic free! :) Now I share my info with other moms I meet! Woo Hoo! :)

I believe that we are all put here for a purpose. Every day that we are alive God has placed us where we are to be a blessing. Sometimes it is caring for the needy, sometimes it is lending support and showing love to someone who is struggling. Sometimes it is giving of your time, sometimes it is sharing the hope of the gospel. Sometimes it requires money, but most often it requires willingness.

I hope to find (and fufill) the things God has set aside for me to accomplish each day, each moment.

Not really a specific cause, but something to strive for and support all the same! :)

Thank you for visiting my blog!

I love giveaways. I haven't won any yet, but I remain hopeful:)

Our family believes in recycling as well. Sometimes it is time consuming, but we believe we are doing some good.
Also, if I had time and money I would support the antismoking campaign. I think I would be honoring my father, who died from lung cancer.

Thanks for stopping by!! I would love to enter your gift-aways!

What do I believe in?? Well, I am a huge animal lover! There are so many animals out there that have been treated horribly and it breaks my heart. If I won the lottery today, I would donate a large portion to animal rights. I feel animals need that chance of survival and love as they give such unconditional love to those that treat them badly. I would even love to open some sort of shelter for animals that don't have a home.

I will now go follow you! Have a wonderful day!

I believe in supporting St. Jude's for children, recycling regularly and being as green as possible. I also support a local organization that helps the homeless get back on their feet, contributing and volunteering. It's a wonderful thing to see when someone is getting out on their own and doing well!!!

I spent Christmas of 1990 at King Fahad Air Base, Tiaf, Saudi Arabia as an Air Force Sergeant in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. We all missed our families. Phone calls to home were few and far between (My folks paid 71.00 for a 6 minute call, It would be their one and only). Mail was delivered once every two weeks, and was usually read many times and aloud to our friends. My best friend, Ruthie, and I were in the midst of a huge 'I'm not talking to you' fight that had been going on for some time (boy, she could be a hateful bitch!). I knew that we were all homesick and tempers had a tendency to flare over the stupidest things, but I was mad! I picked up the mail the day before Christmas, and there was a letter for Ruthie from her daughters (6&9 years old) to whom she had not talked to in almost three months. I was so excited that I ran to our barracks, woke her up, and gave her the letter. I sat on the floor by her bed and watched and waited for her to read it to me. As tears of joy welled in her eyes, they did mine too. There could never had been a more cherished gift than the enclosed picture of her two girls sitting on Santa's lap holding little American flags and wearing camouflage dresses taken just recently. We cried, laughed, and talked until it was dark and cold outside. We decided to build an oh-so-very-illegal fire in the middle of our compound to celebrate Christmas eve. To no surprise, the fire marshal showed up, and instead of an ass chewing, she sat with us as we sang carols under the stars in the middle of a country that does not believe in Christ. These friendships that I was so blessed to be given, and until the day I die, will always have, are unlike any I will ever have again. The camaraderie we as a group of 300+ shared to get through this dismal milestone in our lives is unlike anything, I'm certain, I will ever experience again. I believe in supporting our troops who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. This has nothing to do with whether or not I support the cause or its validity, it's about honoring those men and women who believe in their country and do what is asked of them to show their allegiance to their government. As thousands of mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters spend Christmas day away from their families, say a prayer for their safe return home, and for their loved ones who will wake up Christmas morning without them.

I believe that every child deserves a childhood, an education and the opportunity not only to survive but to thrive.

I believe in relationships--not just sending money (although it's important) or volunteering once or twice, but in actually getting to know the people behind the faces.

And I believe it starts at home. I've been on a few mission trips as well, but ignoring the mission in our own neighborhoods...not cool.

I'm following you now, what a cool blog!
