You Advertise we Buy...

Mouth slightly open, chin up...wand in hand.

It's not a magical wand, but it is does represent a promise from a cosmetic company to fulfill a need.
I want pretty, long, full  lashes that I see in advertisements and I don't want
to continue to waste my money on products that do not perform.
(I think I've purchased 4 mascaras in the last couple of months.)
That is a very obvious statement....I know, but it's a problem consumers
have been dealing with for quite some time.
Announced this morning on Telegraph.co.UK....
the DiorShow New Look mascara advertisement with Natalie Portman
was pulled due to "exaggerated product effect".
  GOOD.

What mascara do you use? Why?

I was watching a morning TV show today and they were giving huge Kudos to Cover Girl Lash Blast 24 Hr Mascara. I needed a new mascara so I bought the Lash Blast today and will see if I like or not.

Never happy with any I have tried. And getting it off is even harder. Looking forward to what others recommend.

Oh, this is a beautiful ad for Dior. Too bad it had to be pulled... Lancôme was also in hot water because of their Julia Roberts photographs...

Just like you, I tend to be a mascara hoarder… As of now, my faves are Doll Lashes by Lancôme & Make Up For Ever’s Smoky Lashes…

Cheers,
Emily
