Bus 82

Feeling pretty good about my new bus skills I got online before heading to work this morning and decided to catch a different bus going to my 11:00 job. (The student has two choices...they can come to our office or with an extra cost we can go directly to their office.) Go figure, in the winter we do a lot of the traveling.

Well, I learned three things today. First, it's very important to read all of the directions before trying to get fancy by using a new bus route. Two, when you are lost you might want to get off the bus as soon as you realize it because (three) the bus often gets to the final destination and you HAVE to get off.  UNLESS, you beg the bus driver(in Franglish...a little English a little French) to let you stay on because you are so lost that you will never find your way back.

Time of departure: 10:15
Start of Class 11:00
Time that I would normally arrive if I wasn't trying to act like I knew what I was doing 10:45
Time that I begged the bus driver to let me stay on the bus 11:45
Time he dropped me off at a random bus stop in the middle of who knows where 11:55
Time class ended 1:00
Time I finally got off the bus and went home 1:15

All I could do was laugh...

What would you have done?

Oh I have done that exact thing before. So awkward.

I'd have panicked. And probably cried and felt sorry for myself. And let it spoil the rest of my day.
Keep your chin up-tomorrow is a new day. LYM

Oh you poor thing! I would have cried and laughed at the same time. What else can you do?

Hang in there ;)

Oh I hate when that happens. I would have done what you did. Who wants to be stranded who knows where!

it's good that you can keep your sense of humor in a situation like that. i probably would have freaked out if i ended up somewhere i didn't know!
