A perfect autumn day has the crunching of leaves beneath my feet,
city windows dressed in the color of pumpkins,
and the smell of apples wafting in the air.
I use words like splender, bliss, luster and harvest.

Breathing in and out replenishes me.
I am in my element when partnered with autumn.

Apple pie time!
What a nice piece of writing. I love fall too, but it sure seems like winter is fast approaching.
Ann,
First of all, you blog is looking quite lovely!
It wasn't until my adulthood that I really appreciated autumn. (I guess spending hours indoors in school must have deprived me from really experiencing autumn.) I agree with you, pumpkins and apples are always a perfect autumn treat, especially in desserts!

I'm so happy to have some mental pictures of where you are. Where did you see city windows?! I miss you... gotta run to go call 'what not to wear' on myself, mwa ha ha :)
Aww, very lovely and homey!
