One thing leads to another

For a very long time I had to take sleeping pills to get restful sleep, but I've decided to stop popping those pills and let nature take it's course. Unfortunately, nature has me up early, to bed late and yearning for a nap around 3:00. (Menopause sucks!)

This morning: The first story I read about then watched on t.v. is the police officer in Seattle. The one who punched a 17 year old girl in the face. What the? Then I watched a clip on skin cancer which had me almost completely disrobed in front of a full length mirror. Thank goodness for my orange wrap.

Oops, I mean.....
Burrr.
Once in front of the mirror then weight loss found it's way into newly developed paranoid mind. The nakedness worked. I put on a t-shirt and shorts to workout then realized either my t-shirt shrunk or my belly is getting bigger. I cursed the dryer for taking advantage of my cotton not my stomach for loving doughnuts.
Walking out the front door, I was greeted by rain. Since I am prone to melting due to my sweetness...because of the doughnuts I had no other option. I am now sitting on the couch fighting off my first nap of the day...all because I'm not taking sleeping pills.

I believe we were both watching the same news! :)

I'm so glad my blog feels comfy! That's like saying my home is comfy. I love it!

I so sympathize! I haven't been sleeping well for a while now and I am not the nicest person for it

I take pills too! Tylenol PM and I have been friends since the war started in 2002. I can't sleep without them!!! I had really gone crazy and the dose got higher and higher, and now I'm weening myself down again. I use the Walmart generics and I can still order them online after we move - yay!

Girl friend, we are so on the same page.
I hate the sleepless nights, or worse yet you wake up and the darn nightie (Yea I still wear something to cover the stretch marks, the wrinkles and the old fat) but the nightie is soaking wet.
All this and I am on hormone pills. Bummer!
I see bufferin has a new MENopause pill out. I wonder why Wally's world is always sold out? Does that indicate only us mature women shop there?
Anyway thanks for stopping by and do come and visit me again!
