The last few days...

It has been so cold here. I'm talking -6 with a feel like (actual weather term that I love to use) of -34 because of the blowing winds. I found myself being jealous of those who were wearing ski masks. Yes, they are fashion statements when it's that cold. Lucky for us we were able to warm up with some yummy coffee because of this...

Thanks...you know who you are! Big Starbucks hugs to you!

Sam's owners came home for a week then jumped on another plane to Chile. Our furry house guest is back. (Smile) As a thank you they took us out to dinner.

Perched on the top floor of the Loews Le Concorde, this revolving restaurant provided optimum viewing pleasures. Within 1 1/2 hours we saw all of Quebec City . The first photo is showing the preparation stage of "Carnaval de Quebec". (More stories coming on this annual winter event.) The second is of Grand Alley, one way take you to the old walled city...better know as Vieux Quebec the other to some fabulous shopping.

(My photos)
Butter molded into the shape of a fleur de lis, more than one fork and a snobby waiter always spells f-a-n-c-y.
It was a wonderful night of sipping wine, indulging in tasty food and engaging in fantastic conversation. I went home with a smile on my face and a happy heart. (Thanks again C & E!)
