That looks great! I'm used to having gravy on fries, not the cheese curds though. Sounds good!

Take care!! ;0)

Ann you've got to be kidding me... you are now officially the Queen of Blogging. This absolutely rocks! I hope you are still surviving P90X. (do a few extra reps to get rid of that poutine, yo, mwa ha!)

Oh gosh - I grew up in the Detroit area so spent quite a bit of time in Canada. I love love love poutine, which has probably got to be one of the unhealthiest "meals" ever, right? My all-time favorite was from some roadside stand somewhere in Canada - so delicious!

All you skeptics: Don't knock it 'till you've tried it - you might be pleasantly surprised!!! :)

Oh my gosh! I was on a quest to get poutin this summer when I was in Vermont. We were going to cross the border into Quebec, but couldn't find all our birth certificates so we didn't.

We found an Americanized version in NY, just south of the border, but they just used chedder instead of curds. I was disappointed.

It looks like one of those things kids will refuse to eat until someone forces a gravy/curd-covered fry in their mouth and they're all like, "Wow! Why have I wasted so many years protesting this yummy bucket of grease?!" But Mmmm... I love grease. Now I'm hungry.

Don't knock the cheese curds until you try them. It sounds weird but it's delicious. It's been far too long since I've been in Canada!

I went to college in Nova Scotia and had a roommate who was so addicted to Poutin.. I just didn't and still don't get it.. maybe it's the gravy thing and I don't do beef... dunno...

I know what poutine is now. I had seen it on another post of your mom eating it. I might give it a try.
