I am officially over whelmed over nothing.... how is that possible?

Here are the things clogging my ability to move in any direction:

-I'm trying to change the look of my blog. I am computer challenged. I want it done now, not in three weeks like most people are telling me when I contact them for their services. I have been watching "how to" tutorials on Youtube and now want to throw my computer because I am totally frustrated at their ability to make it look super-duper easy.
-I want to write a snippet on the Oscars, but why? Except did you see the tacky, "I want to get a raise move" from the camera man who panned in on Angelina while Jennifer was talking (more than once)....come on. The only reason I really looked was to catch another glimpse of the green jewels Angelina was flaunting.
-I called to rearrange my work schedule today and the lady who answers the phone (who has the ability to alter my day by the way she speaks to me....which usually leads to throwing a pillow or crying into one) was once again the most unfriendly, uncaring, rude (maybe I just do not understand her...) person.
-Being away for the weekend leads to hours of really good posts unread by me....a bit of anxiety, why?
-I have John Denver singing my song..."Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy" actually sunshine with warmth on any part of my body would make me happy right about now. I need some warm tropical sun... I know join the club.

-Yeah, I get to announce the winner of the $25.00 gift card...Thanks to all of you who participated! I love having contests and I really enjoy reading the comments left by other bloggers. Drum roll..... The winner of my 100th post celebration is: A Family Completed, she will be receiving a gift card to...Amazon.

Who has really made it this far in this monstrosity of a post? I am so sorry.... Mama's meds are not working today.

Oh, if you are looking for someone who is making sense today and is going to have some fun click over to Coffee with the Mrs. She is having a Live Giveaway tonight for a Clickfree. A what? A Clickfree: "Finally, backup so easy anyone can use it. Just connect to your computer and Clickfree™ will automatically find, organize, and back up all of your important data." Way cool for blogger peeps.

Maybe later when I can put two thoughts together that will actually form a sentence I'll tell you about my overnight into the great wild woods...with no running water or indoor plumbing that we actually had to pay for. Color us crazy!

if you check out Sneaky Mama (she is a follower of mine, if you want to find her that way) she does a Tuesday tipjar and gives really great direction on how to do a lot of this blog makeover stuff. If there is something specific you want to know, send her a question and she is really great at using it in a tipjar post the next tuesday.....really really worth while(no charge either). Good luck! I am also doing a 100 post celebration and made a 100 Blog Club Button if you want it....thanks to Jill at Sneakymama.

Good luck getting untangled. Please, if you need an easy blog "makeover," contact Susie at Susie's Homemade. She did mine, and I'm certainly satisfied!

I wish I was computer-literate enough to do a cool makeover on my blog! Good luck with it.!

Sorry you're having so much trouble with your blog makeover.

?Being away for the weekend leads to hours of really good posts unread by me....a bit of anxiety, why?" I can relate to this one. My inbox or Google Reader get too crazy? I get completely freaked out. An entire weekend away? Yeah, I'm having an attack of some sort just thinking about it.

I often feel anxious about nothing - you are not alone! And also - I, too, am in the market for a blog makeover so I found an etsy friend to help me out. AND, Angelina's jewelry was absolutely amazing. I couldn't get enough.

Had fun tonight in the live giveaway :)

Hope you get your blog makeover soon, I know how hard it is to wait for such a fun change like that...

Good luck with the blog makeover! It is all so confusing - took me two hours to change over from two columns to three. I dare not try anything drastic, but I overread someone else's advice about doing a "test" or practice blog first, in case it doesn't work out right.

I thought I was he only one who had so many thoughts going on at one time!!
A neat place I came across that had really cool back-grounds for blogs and you can use in conjunction with blogger templates is 'thecutestblogontheblock.com' You might want to check it out. They are free too, plus a lot of other cute things. I do like your blog though!
Take care! ;0)

I know the feeling of being overwhelmed even when I don't have anything going on. Weird how that happens sometimes.

Didn't watch the Oscars, so I thought it was funny to read your cameraman bit.

Congratulations to the winner!

I am so with you on the tacky camera goings on during Jennifer Aniston's bit on stage. The first time...expected. The SECOND time...hatefullness. I'm just glad that Angelina had some glimpse of an enduring, "aw, ain't she cute" look on her face. Could have been worse I guess. I couldn't figure out what the earrings were made of.

Sorry to hear about the lady at your work. What a bummer. I hope that you get your sunshine soon!

you crack me up. i love rambling posts. it sounds like you need a good potpourri of thoughts blog day. is that how you spell potpourri? potporri? whatever- you get the idea.

totally say the panning to angelina and brad during jen's presentation. if i had been her (jen), i'd likely have just accidentally slipped the bird. but that's why they don't let me present at the oscars. :)

Hey, I love reading your blog and I'd be glad to help you! I'd even be glad to do whatever you want me to do. I can send you the links to a few blogs I've done. Just realize that I learned it all on my own and am nowhere near professional but I've done a lot of research and I'd be glad to help! Email me if you'd like to see those links: sharlacarbine at gmail

Bloggy makeovers are fun and frustrating all at once:) I am going through a bloggy crisis too. Cutest Blog on the Block has instructions on how to do your own template...if that helps any?

Hang in there!
