Oh yes, it is one of the places in the USA I really want to see - in fact it is my hubby's no 1 place to see in the world. Ok, maybe no 2 after the Serengetti during migration.

That is really breathtaking.
I drove Roger to work at the lodge today, and the elk were absolutely EVERYWHERE! It was if someone had left a gate open (your hubby would be busy,busy!)I see them pretty regularly when I go back and forth, but today was odd, most of them were lying down like cattle do. I'll see if I can get some pictures this weekend to show you (They won't be near as professional looking as yours though!) I've been working so hard just struggling to get through this Algebra course, I'm sorry I have not been keeping in touch as often as I'd like. When this class is over, I'll be right back in the bloggin' loop!

The Elk there are sooooo tame, used to all the tourists. I went about 10 years ago and we got a close up similar to yours. Pretty amazing though. Great shot, love the antlers. We went in summer so they were just starting to grow thiers. Yellowstone is absolutely gorgeous.
We haven't made it there yet. But,I would so love to.
