I know you want to fill the frame and show details, but the setting can really help make the photo pop, too. Just a suggestion to try next time would be to stand back (or zoom out) to catch more of the background, be it other flowers or just grass. Then lower your aperture and let the background get that nice blurry look. You will still give the feeling of placement for the flower and still capture the details and essence of it, too.
I really love these photos. I feel like I was there. :)Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15128941432434492317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5610135109623037891.post-8243104266367171422012-06-05T11:18:02.915-04:002012-06-05T11:18:02.915-04:00cliche as may be, but I love a deep burgundy rose....cliche as may be, but I love a deep burgundy rose. there is something about the velvety, slightly wet petals and sweet aroma.

I do love tulips too! Rose, Peonies, Tulips, Daisies, and on and on. The Pinterest photo you have there is one of the prettiest and most feminine I've ever seen.. Very nice!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
